The Annandale Hotel

Amongst rumours of this quintessential Sydney pub going into receivership, this was posted on their Facebook page today :

Dear Folks.

Just a quick note on what happened today. Matt and Dan meet with the bank today to discuss the position of the hotel. The bank are reviewing that now,
The hotel is not closed and our goal is to work with the bank to ensure that live music will continue through this period.
We will keep you updated ASAP.

We have to save this place! Why? Well Ladies and Gents: the Annandale is where you go to see good (and some not so good) local (and some not so local) bands. And we need to support the arts and build on that legacy.

Some of my most cherished (often blurry) musical memories were made dancing on that sticky carpet. The Annandale always makes me feel at home and gently reminds that we all need to let our hair down sometimes. Without judgement.
